RE/MAX Anchor Realty was established in 2006 by Philip "Rocky" Farhat and Debra K. Meredith-Peters. Both long time business leaders in Charlotte County, Debra and Rocky combined their two independent realty companies to create a stronger, more predominant force in the Charlotte Real Estate Community. RE/MAX Anchor Realty was the largest conversion in RE/MAX Florida history.

While other real estate firms are pulling back RE/MAX Anchor Realty has embraced the opportunity to grow market share by focusing on recruiting superior Agents. Its training and development program is a significant draw to Agents with experience and drive. To handle its increasing customer base, additional offices were soon opened. RE/MAX Anchor Realty has three office locations with over 70 Agents.
